Iris Cottage Cattery

Iris Cottage Cattery is a modern luxury 'cat hotel' facility that opened in November 2016 in Snarford - near Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. The cattery is owned and run by Eileen, whose passion for cats began on the farm where she grew up, where as a little girl she fell in love with her first cat 'Whiskey'. This deep love for cats has continued over many years, especially with the rather characterful Oliver, now aged 15, who inspired Eileen to start up her own business.

Having spent years considering the idea, Eileen was driven by her own experiences as a cattery customer to develop her own, purpose-built, luxury accommodation.

Iris Cottage Cattery combines luxury with superb uPVC indoor facilities that meet the highest standards to ensure maximum levels of comfort, hygiene and welfare. With 10 pens in total Eileen can offer extra-special, individual attention for each guest who stays.

All pens are double glazed with an indoor heated sleeping area and covered outdoor area. Our accommodation is secure, bright and airy. The bedrooms each have heaters with digital thermostats, which allows the temperature to be adjusted to cater for guests that need extra warmth. The cattery is fully licensed and adheres to current regulations.

Eileen says: "It is my promise as the cattery owner to take care of my guests as if they were my own. I aim to give them everything that they need to make them feel happy and safe, whether it be their own bed from home, special diet, an extra feed at lunchtime or just a cuddle.  I want it to be a real 'home from home' for them".
